Question 1

Will my phone work with Zimly?

Accepted Answer

Any iPhone XS or newer, most Samsung Galaxy S20+ phones, and all recent Google Pixels. Use the compatibility checker on the marketplace if you're not sure.

Question 2

How does it activate?

Accepted Answer

You scan the QR code we email you, tap 'Add eSIM', and you're connected.

Question 3

Do I need Wi-Fi to activate?

Accepted Answer

Yes, once — to scan the QR. After that the eSIM works the moment your plane lands and you disable airplane mode.

Question 4

What happens when my data runs out?

Accepted Answer

Buy another plan when you need more data. Top-up from the dashboard isn't available yet, and your phone number stays the same.

Question 5

Can I use it in multiple countries?

Accepted Answer

Yes — pick a regional plan (Europe, Asia, Global) and one eSIM covers every country in that region.

Question 6

What if it doesn't work?

Accepted Answer

If the eSIM never installs on a compatible phone and we cannot fix it, email support@zimly.co.uk and we refund it. The refund policy explains the other cases.

Question 7

How is this different from a local SIM?

Accepted Answer

No airport queues, no language barriers, no swapping out your home SIM. You keep iMessage, your UK number, and your contacts.

Question 8

Can I keep my normal number?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Zimly adds a second line on your phone for data, while your regular number stays active for calls and texts.
